US Single and Double Seams Tubes (or Endless Tubes)
Advanced Diesel injection systems are working at high pressure under strict mechanical tolerances making continuous lubrication a priority.
The presence of water droplets and solid particles could seriously affect the lubrication performance and therefore the overall efficiency of the water separation system.
SAATI understands that fine filtration is necessary in order to meet these increasing demands and have developed a complete range of advanced woven media.
Liquid-particle separation applications in the automotive filed are more and more often requiring innovative filter medias characterized by high filtration efficiency and high particle retention capacity. Monofilament based reverse plain dutch weaves, which were a standard for in tank fuel pump filters, are being more and more substituted by depth filter media increasing in this way the general filtration performances granted by the filter.
In order to fulfill the enhanced requirements of new generation filter system, Saati has developed a new multi layer filter media for the projects of tomorrow: SAATIMOTION MLM.

Gasoline injectors, due to their tight tolerances, require to be protected by a high precision filter system.
SAATIMOTION PA woven meshes are the ideal solution for their precise and consistent mesh opening and for the high open area which helps in keeping low the pressure drop at the filter.
For high temperature application with particular fuels, like biofuels, as well as for the engines of tomorrow, Saati has introduced a new generation of meshes for injectors based on PEEK fibers.
PEEK fabrics show an outstanding chemical and thermal resistance, combined with high mechanical and hydrolysis resistance, which makes them the ideal candidates for fuel filtration in severe conditions.
Liquid-particle separation applications in the automotive filed are more and more often requiring innovative filter medias characterized by high filtration efficiency and high particle retention capability. Among all one of the most demanding one in terms of filtration efficiency and DHC is AdBlue filtration in SCR systems.
SCR systems are very sensitive to contamination (small particles could affect the porosity of the catalyst) and poisoning (some chemicals could destroy the chemistry of the catalyst making it ineffective), for this reason also the additive used has to be very pure and clean. In order to match the requirements the system has to be provide by a dedicated filter system which could protect all the relevant system component (feed pump, dosing unit and injectors).

Radiators for coolant are often made of aluminum. In most advanced application, there’s the need of giving the radiator a perfect protection against any way of corrosion. Sodium dioxide powder (silica gel) is often used in order to absorb traces of water or chemicals from the cooling liquid flowing into the radiator.
In order to contain Silica gel particles a textile bag made of PP or PPS monofilament is used. Woven meshed grants a precise particle containment and a low flow resistance through the bag.
HVAC systems provided with a Receiver/Drier subassembly are very often provided with a filter used to trap debris which could be potentially present in the system and could reduce the overall efficiency of the system.
Saati high precision woven meshes are ideal for this application, in particular Saati has developed an polyamide mesh, SAATIMOTION PA 60/32, specifically dedicated to HVAC application in the automotive sector.
SAATIMOTION PA, PES and PP fabrics, with their narrow and consistent pore size distribution, are ideal for many other automotive related filtration applications, such as:
